TP, Globe strengthen alliance at 15-year mark

TP in the Philippines and Globe Telecom marked a historic milestone as they celebrated 15 years of strategic partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to service excellence, innovation, and community impact.

The event, themed “Celebrating a Crystal Partnership: 15 Years of Shared Success,” brought together executives, employees, and community partners for a day anchored on service leadership, recognition, and renewed commitment for the years ahead.

The program opened with a meaningful initiative reflecting both organizations’ shared mission of creating positive social impact. 

In collaboration with the Kythe Foundation, TP and Globe supported children facing chronic illnesses, underscoring their dedication to making a difference beyond business.

Leadership vision shared

A leadership-led plenary session followed, highlighting key milestones from the past 15 years and outlining the strategic direction of the partnership moving forward.

Rahul Jolly, chief executive officer of TP in the Philippines, emphasized the strength and longevity of the collaboration.

“Fifteen years of partnership is a testament to trust, collaboration, and the shared vision to deliver exceptional value. As we celebrate this achievement, we also look forward with resolve to innovate, transform, and scale greater heights with our people and partners,” Jolly said.

Jeffrey Johnson, chief people officer of TP in the Philippines, underscored the role of people and culture in sustaining the partnership.

“At the heart of this 15-year partnership with Globe are our people—their talent, resilience, and passion for delivering excellence. This celebration is more than a milestone; it is a recognition of the culture we have built together, one that champions growth, empowers individuals, and fosters lasting impact,” Johnson said.

Recognizing excellence together

A key highlight of the celebration was the graduation of Project ECHO Batch 2, recognizing deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who now serve as Globe customer experience representatives, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to inclusive employment.

The milestone event also featured recognition ceremonies, including the Globe Persona Awards for individuals who exemplify Globe’s values; the Longevity Awards honoring employees for their loyalty and long-term service; and the Outstanding Contribution Awards for those who exceeded performance expectations.

Aileen Burgos, Globe vice president for customer experience management, described the partnership as one grounded in shared purpose.

Looking ahead 

“Fifteen years of partnership with TP is not just about business results, it’s about creating meaningful customer experiences and empowering communities,” Burgos said.
