The program allows drivers to register for a single account that works across all major Luzon expressways under both operators.
Those who prefer to keep separate Autosweep and Easytrip accounts may still do so.
How to enroll?
Motorists can enroll online by visiting the website of their chosen RFID provider, Autosweep or Easytrip, then proceed to remove any extra RFID sticker at a service center if they have both. After that, they can load up their account and use it to travel seamlessly across all Luzon tollways.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) led the initiative to improve toll collection efficiency and reduce congestion. The companies said years of technical work and coordination went into aligning their systems and settlement processes.
Years in the making
“We are proud to announce the successful completion of interoperability between our electronic toll collection systems, Autosweep and Easytrip,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The unified system covers North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), NLEX Connector, Skyway System, South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), STAR Tollway, Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), CAVITEX C5 Link, Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), and NAIA Expressway (NAIAX).
Now that the project is complete, MPTC and SMC said their next goal is to expand registration and continuously enhance system performance.
They thanked the DOTr and TRB for their guidance in completing the integration.
“Their valuable leadership helped simplify settlement mechanisms so that motorists can enjoy a smooth and secure experience,” the firms added.
