SMC Tollways fully equipped with AI cameras, ready for barrier-less operations
Ramon Ang, chair and CEO of San Miguel Corp., confirmed the installation of 522 automatic license plate recognition cameras across toll plazas and gantries in its 220-kilometer expressway network — the South Luzon Expressway, the Skyway system, and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway.

Ramon Ang: New 12-lane SLEX to ease holiday traffic, full expansion by mid-2025
The head of the country’s largest conglomerate said the expanded 29-kilometer stretch, running from Susanna Heights in Muntinlupa to Calamba, Laguna, is expected to alleviate traffic congestion during the holiday season.
