Tycoons Edgar “Injap” Sia II, Tony Tan Caktiong, and Edgar Saavedra are collaborating once again on their sixth project, kicking off construction activities for Hotel101 in Quezon City, which is set for completion by the end of 2026.
Saavedra, owner of contractor Megawide Construction Corp., was tapped to build the 702-room Hotel101 in Bridgetowne Estate in Libis, Quezon City. Hotel101 is the leisure arm of Sia and Tancaktiong’s DoubleDragon Corp.
“Megawide has earned a high level of trust from clients in the commercial segment, including hotels. These are complemented by our deep experience in engineering mixed-use and vertical developments,” Frederick Tan, chief operating officer of Megawide, said on Tuesday.
“This synergy with DoubleDragon, which is a major player in this industry, shows our company’s drive for excellence anchored on state-of-the-art construction solutions and vertically integrated operations,” he added.
