The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) has approved the extension of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project until the end of 2027, under the Department of Agrarian Reform.

With a budget of P24.62 billion, this project aims to secure land tenure for agrarian reform beneficiaries by issuing electronic titles, the agency said in a statement.

As of late 2023, Project SPLIT has successfully distributed 54,698 e-titles across 72,996 hectares to 59,375 beneficiaries, significantly stabilizing property rights and fostering agricultural productivity and modernization in line with the Marcos administration's goals.
