Ayala Land’s Alviera taps Miriam College to lead Central Luzon’s education push

A new chapter in Central Luzon’s development begins with the opening of Miriam College Alviera in August 2025, anchoring the growing 1,700-hectare Alviera estate into an integrated center for learning, living, and enterprise.

The 10-hectare Miriam College Alviera campus marks the latest milestone in Ayala Land and Leonio Land’s visionary estate development in Porac, Pampanga.

As the newest addition to the expansive Alviera estate, this premier Catholic institution is now open for enrollment from Kindergarten to Grade 10 for School Year 2025–2026.

Over time, the school intends to expand its academic offerings to include senior high school, graduate programs, technical-vocational courses, and international degree pathways through a strategic partnership with Camosun College in Canada.

“Miriam College Alviera will be the home of the creative generation,” said student recruitment officer Mirma Tica-Ortiz. “Creativity and innovation will define the student experience as we help shape the next leaders of the Alviera community.”

Estate development head Rica Balbido emphasized Alviera’s vision as a holistic growth center: “We’re building a vibrant city that brings together education, commerce, recreation, and sustainability. Miriam College will play a key role in this journey.”

A city in the Making

Alviera’s master plan positions it as a strategic hub for education and investment. Just 20 minutes from Angeles City and Clark International Airport, the estate features diverse residential communities, leisure destinations, and industrial and commercial zones.

Outdoor attractions such as SandBox, City Kart Racing, bike trails, and the Alviera Driving Range complement community facilities like the Alviera Country Club.

On the residential front, developments by Ayala Land Premier, Alveo, and Avida are progressing rapidly. Vermont Settings is nearing completion with over 85 percent of land development finalized.

The business landscape is equally dynamic, with four industrial locators already operational and more expected. Commercial zones like the A-Block and East Commercial Area are being primed for enterprise growth. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
