A residential project near Ninoy Aquino International Airport is moving closer to completion as RLC Residences advances construction of Woodsville Crest, its eight-building mid-rise development in Merville, Parañaque.
The residential division of Robinsons Land Corp. topped off the Olive Building, the project’s third tower, on Sept. 2, marking another construction milestone for the 3.26-hectare development.
Woodsville Crest is designed to combine access to major business districts and NAIA with landscaped open spaces and nature-inspired amenities.
Construction milestone
RLC Residences vice president for project management Emmanuel Arce said in a statement the topping off marked a significant stage in the construction of the development.
“Ceremonies like this have always been a welcome treat to us. It marks a major milestone in the construction phase of our development,” Arce said.
“It reminds us that we should continue with our untiring efforts in the completion of the project and make our buildings a safe place to live in,” he added.
The developer did not provide a completion or turnover date for the Olive Building.
Woodsville Crest is accessible through West Service Road and Edison Avenue, with connections to the South Luzon Expressway. Its location also provides access to NAIA, Makati and Bonifacio Global City.
RLC Residences said the development could cater to airport and aviation employees as well as balikbayans and Filipinos based overseas looking for a Metro Manila residence near the airport.
Open spaces
The eight-building community incorporates landscaped areas and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, picnic grove, wellness trail, pet-friendly spaces and children’s play areas.
Residential units range from studios to executive two-bedroom configurations and are equipped with smart-home features, including smart locks, smart lighting and audio-video intercoms.
The development also incorporates electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle parking and a rainwater harvesting system among its sustainability features.
Southern location
RLC Residences is positioning Woodsville Crest as an option for buyers seeking proximity to commercial and employment centers in southern Metro Manila while retaining access to outdoor and recreational spaces within the property.
The project’s location near NAIA is also intended to provide easier access for residents whose work or travel requires frequent trips to the country’s main international gateway.
With structural work on the Olive Building completed, construction will proceed to the succeeding stages before the tower is completed.
RLC Residences did not disclose the investment cost of Woodsville Crest or the Olive Building in the information released for the topping-off milestone. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
