SM Group’s customers played a crucial role in helping The SM Store, alongside SM Foundation, SM Stationery and World Vision, distribute back-to-school kits to 12,000 grade school pupils across more than 70 public schools nationwide.

In Cebu, 1,350 students from Mandaue City Central School, Mandaue City SPED Central School, Opao Elementary School, and Umapad Elementary School received these essential supplies.

This initiative coincides with the upcoming opening of SM Store’s 76th location at JMall Mandaue.

Through the Shop & Share for Education program, customers could support underprivileged students by purchasing school kits for P100 with a minimum single-receipt purchase of P3,000 at participating SM Stores.

The program underscores the value of small contributions, showing that even a modest P100 donation can make a significant impact on children from underserved communities.

As students begin a new academic year, SM Store, together with its customers and partners, remains dedicated to providing Filipino children with the essential tools they need for a quality education and a brighter future.
