The hotel, owned by their listed property venture DoubleDragon Corp., is on track for full completion by December 2025, timed for Madrid’s hosting of the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Once completed, Hotel101-Madrid will be one of the five largest hotels in Spain’s capital.
It sits on a 6,593-square meter prime property in Valdebebas, surrounded by key landmarks like the IFEMA convention center, the Real Madrid Sports Complex, and Madrid Barajas International Airport.
Guests will benefit from quick access, since the location is a 3-minute walk to the train station and under 10 minutes to top attractions and the airport.
The project highlights Hotel101’s strategy of building in high-growth, high-traffic areas that serve both business and leisure travelers.
Hotel101’s long-term goal is ambitious: one million rooms across 100 countries. As part of this roadmap, the company has named 25 priority countries for expansion, including Japan, the U.S., U.K., France, and Saudi Arabia.
The rapid progress in Madrid signals Hotel101’s ability to execute large-scale projects abroad, a crucial step as it transforms from a Philippine brand into a global hospitality player.
