The Solaire casino operator's new OnlyFun.PH platform effectively combines a livestreaming show with an online casino, giving Bloomberry another way to compete for players in the increasingly crowded digital gambling market.
The approach could help Bloomberry stand out in a market where established online gambling platforms already enjoy strong brand recognition, by offering players something beyond conventional casino games.
More than another gaming app
Part of Bloomberry's FUNaloMAX digital gaming portfolio, OnlyFun.PH makes streamers and audience participation part of the gaming experience rather than leaving players to gamble on their own.
The bigger question is whether the popularity of online personalities can translate into paying customers for Bloomberry.
“As digital entertainment continues to reshape how Filipinos consume content, the launch of OnlyFun.PH reflects our mission to meet the demand of modern consumers for interactive, creator-driven media,” said Kelvin Kuan, Bloomberry's vice president and head of online gaming.
Bloomberry plans to add more livestream programs and content creators, although it has not disclosed how much it is investing or what revenue it expects from the new platform.
OnlyFun.PH operates under the regulation of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., with identity verification, data security and player protection measures built into the service.
