The strategy also gives operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp. greater control over the platform rather than relying heavily on outside technology providers.
In-house tech for faster mobile play
The Solaire product launched its next-generation mobile app alongside MAX REWARDS, a six-tier VIP program. FUNaloMAX said it abandoned heavy third-party frameworks in favor of a custom, in-house architecture designed to deliver faster loading, screens optimized for slower connections and Face ID login.
Optimization for slower connections
Building the platform internally could give Bloomberry more control over how quickly it adjusts the user experience, while optimization for slower connections addresses a practical barrier for mobile users outside consistently high-speed environments.
“FUNaloMAX is purpose-built for a broader, more dynamic audience — players who want a faster, bolder experience on their own terms,” Bloomberry Resorts Corp. president and chief operating officer Gregory Francis Hawkins said in a press release.
“We are no longer dependent on third-party platforms to execute our vision,” Hawkins said.
‘Daily Shortcut’
MAX REWARDS organizes players across six tiers and includes a “Daily Shortcut,” which allows users to move from the entry-level Spade Rookie tier to the elite Joker tier within a single day of focused play. The structure emphasizes faster progression rather than solely long-term accumulation.
Real-money wagers on slots, live casino tables, Bingo and Perya games generate MAX Points, which can be converted into e-vouchers. Deposits and cashouts are supported through Maya and DragonPay.
What’s next
FUNaloMAX plans a MAX Rewards Shop offering physical items and hospitality experiences tied to Solaire. The app is available through Apple’s iOS App Store and as an Android APK. Bloomberry, which is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, also operates Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Solaire Resort Quezon City and Solaire Online. —Vanessa Hidalgo| Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
