The company said it has entered into an exclusive Philippine partnership with Pragmatic Play, whose portfolio of slots, live casino and other gaming products is used by licensed operators across regulated markets worldwide.
The agreement will allow licensed gambling operators in the Philippines to access Pragmatic Play’s gaming services through PhilWeb, subject to regulatory approvals and contractual arrangements.
The deal expands PhilWeb’s growing roster of partners, which already includes Hann, Okada and NUSTAR, as it builds a business supplying technology and gaming content to licensed operators.
The expansion comes after PhilWeb returned to profitability in the first quarter, posting P13.9 million in net income from a P25.5 million loss a year earlier as revenue climbed 30 percent.
The turnaround also attracted tycoon Lance Gokongwei, who recently agreed to invest P2 billion for a 15 percent stake in the company.
