The expansion sharpens the company’s bid to hit one million square meters of gross leasable area by 2030, a goal that cements retail as a growth driver alongside residential and office projects.
New malls across key townships
The lineup includes The Shoppes at Park McKinley West in Taguig, a two-story hub featuring global retailers, first-in-Philippines brands, and homegrown dining names such as Ogawa, Tartufo, Royal Indian Curry House, One World Deli, George & Onnie’s, Café 17, Nightshade Cocktails & Bar, Hanamaruken, and Yakinuku Sudaku.
Megaworld will also open a lifestyle mall at Vion Tower in Makati, fresh retail areas in Alabang West, and the Newcoast Beachwalk in Boracay, catering to both locals and tourists.
Strong leasing momentum
“We are growing our leasing business by bringing our signature lifestyle mall concept to more locations while introducing new experiences that resonate with today’s consumers,” said Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
“This approach allows us to drive sustained growth for Megaworld and, at the same time, enhance the value of our townships nationwide,” he added.
Momentum is already visible: Megaworld Lifestyle Malls booked P3.33 billion in leasing revenues in the first half of 2025, up 10 percent year-on-year on strong consumer traffic and premium tenant demand.
Earlier this year, the group also expanded Lucky Chinatown in Binondo to 36,000 square meters of gross leasable space with the opening of its new Imperial Wing.
