The company said site works this year will prepare roads and core infrastructure for Ilocandia Beach Village, a 19.4-hectare coastal subdivision within the 84-hectare estate. The project marks Megaworld’s first beachside residential community in the province.
Megaworld expects about P2 billion in sales from the project, with residential lots targeted for turnover by 2031. The village will form part of the broader Ilocandia Coastown tourism and lifestyle estate.
First beach village in Laoag
Ilocandia Beach Village will offer 446 residential lots ranging from 230 to 406 square meters with direct beach access along Laoag’s western coastline. “
We envision Ilocandia Beach Village transforming the landscape of the city by offering a unique and vibrant lifestyle that celebrates the beauty of Ilocandia’s stunning coastline,” said May Santos, head of sales and marketing, Ilocandia Coastown.
Megaworld said the gated village will be the first in Laoag with underground cabling for power and telecom lines.
Big picture
Ilocandia Coastown spans 84 hectares beside Fort Ilocandia Hotel and about 15 minutes from Laoag International Airport.
The township will include a town center, mall, hotels, shophouse district, and other commercial and leisure components to create a live-work-play destination in the Ilocos Region. Megaworld launched the township in 2024 as its first large-scale coastal development in Northern Luzon.
