  • Residential villages generated P28 billion in sales, showing Megaworld’s growth is extending beyond condominiums.
  • The sellouts point to resilient demand for premium lots and master-planned communities despite a softer housing market.
  • Projects in Palawan, Ilocos Norte, Cavite and Quezon City all sold out, highlighting demand across both provincial and Metro Manila markets.

Real estate giant Megaworld Corp. is finding buyers for residential lots even as the broader property market grapples with slower demand, selling out four village developments across Metro Manila and key provincial growth areas worth a combined P28 billion.

The projects span Quezon City, Cavite, Palawan and Ilocos Norte, extending the strong reservation sales momentum that earlier boosted the company’s condominium business.

The performance suggests demand remains firm for premium residential lots and master-planned communities despite elevated borrowing costs and a softer housing market.

“We continue to pursue our strategy of diversifying our residential portfolio to address the evolving needs and preferences of homebuyers and investors,” president and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said.

Luxury, provincial projects sold out

“Beyond our condominium developments, we remain focused on expanding our horizontal residential offerings, which continue to generate strong market interest across our townships not only in Metro Manila but also in key growth areas in the provinces,” she added.

Megaworld’s biggest sellout projects included Embassy Hills in Quezon City, its first ultra-luxury development under the Megaworld Luxe Collection, Paragua Beach Village in Palawan, Maple Grove Park Village in Cavite and Ilocandia Beach Village in Ilocos Norte.

The four developments generated combined sales of around P28 billion.

Township model gains traction

“The sustained demand for these developments reflects the strength of our township model and reinforces our confidence in the long-term growth potential of our master-planned communities nationwide,” Gutierrez-Alfonso said.

Megaworld currently has 37 townships spanning more than 7,000 hectares nationwide and remains the country’s largest office landlord and hotel operator.
