Since the start of the year, the carrier flew 1.1 million guests to Boracay. This is about 85 percent of all Boracay trips made in 2023.
“There is no season required for visiting Boracay. We have seen families and groups of friends visit the island even during Christmas and New Year’s Eve. To say that Boracay is just a summer destination is already passé,” said AirAsia Philippines communications and public affairs head first officer Steve Dailisan.
In 2023, Boracay accounted for nearly 20 percent of the budget airline's passenger volume. AirAsia Philippines serves Boracay via Manila, Clark, and Cebu. Daily flights originating from Clark International Airport to Boracay are the most affordable at P641.
