AC Health integrates FEU-NRMF Medical Center into Healthway Network

In a major move to elevate healthcare delivery in Metro Manila, AC Health has officially welcomed FEU-NRMF Medical Center into its growing Healthway Medical Network (HMN), reinforcing its mission to transform health for every Filipino through integrated, patient-centered care.

Now named Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center, the facility stands as the only Level 3 hospital serving the 5th District of Quezon City, further boosting AC Health’s footprint in the region.

“This milestone underscores AC Health’s unwavering commitment to our vision of transforming health for every Filipino,” said Paolo Borromeo, president & CEO of AC Health. “We look forward to greater synergy across our network of hospitals, clinics, pharmacies—and the broader Ayala ecosystem.”

The integration was sealed through a 35-year lease agreement between AC Health and FEU-NRMF Foundation, bringing with it significant infrastructure investments, including:

  • Revitalization of the catheterization lab

  • Expansion of the coronary artery bypass grafting surgery program

  • Establishment of a women’s health center with 3D mammogram

  • Expansion of the hemodialysis facility

  • Modernization of the eye center

“The Healthway FEU-NRMF Medical Center represents a renewed commitment to quality and accessible healthcare—rooted in legacy but focused on the future,” said Fernando Zobel de Ayala, chair of AC Health.

With over 540 accredited doctors, 11 clinical departments, and robust training programs (10 residency and 5 fellowships), the center remains both a top-tier healthcare provider and a training ground for future medical professionals.

Jimmy Ysmael, president and CEO of Healthway Medical Network, emphasized the hospital's strategic role: “This partnership allows us to expand our ‘Care Beyond Cure’ philosophy—providing holistic, human-centric care to even more communities.”

For FEU-NRMF Foundation, the partnership was about shared values. “There was instant and tangible synergy between our teams,” said Foundation president Juan Enrique Reyes. “It just felt right.”

Founded in 1952 and relocated to Quezon City in 1999, the facility now embraces a new chapter under the HMN banner—promising better service access, expanded specialty care, and a legacy of innovation-driven healthcare. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
