In a statement, Globe said this new product, offered through its Globe At Home brand, gives users the flexibility to boost their internet speeds without committing to long-term contracts.
The GFiber Prepaid plan provides reliable and low-latency internet suitable for productivity and entertainment.
The service offers customers the ability to stream 4K video, perform uninterrupted video calls even with multiple users, and make large file transfers. Gamers also benefit from the responsive and stable connection, enhancing their online experience across devices.
"Globe At Home understands how essential reliable and fast connectivity is for today’s lifestyles,” Globe’s broadband business vice president and head of brand management Abigail Cardino said.
“With the GFiber Prepaid speed boost, we’re offering our customers the freedom to increase their internet speeds without being tied to a contract. This proves our commitment to providing accessible and flexible, high-quality internet that adapts to the needs of Filipino households," Cardino said.
Globe said the new service offers flexible options to suit various needs and budgets.
Customers can opt for speeds of up to 100 Mbps for seven days at P399 or a 30-day plan for P1,299. For lighter use, a 30-day plan with speeds of up to 50 Mbps is available at P699. Users can tailor their internet subscriptions to match their usage without the burden of a 24- or 36-month contract.
Globe said this move shows the firm’s solutions to evolving consumer demands.
By introducing a prepaid fiber service that combines affordability, flexibility, and high performance, Globe is meeting the growing demand for quality internet access in the Philippines, it explained.
