The 300-rack, 3-megawatt site, now validated as a Tier III Constructed Facility, will anchor Converge’s core assets and critical functions as demand for cloud and content services accelerates.
“With our Caloocan Data Center having been fully certified as Tier III, now both for design and for construction, we are on track to building a digital ecosystem that ensures the highest levels of reliability and security for our network,” said Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy.
“This further enhances our infrastructure to support our core assets and services, ultimately enabling us to deliver seamless data delivery to both our residential and enterprise customers nationwide and around the world,” he added.
The lifetime certification highlights the hub’s resilience, including redundant systems that minimize downtime, setting a new benchmark for local operators. It follows a February award for design certification and March completion of construction, with operational testing now underway.
Converge is pursuing a multi-edge strategy to meet rising content and cloud demand, rolling out smaller edge facilities across its network alongside a 1,200-rack data center now being built in Pampanga.
