The event was graced by AFP Chief of Staff General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Defense Undersecretary Angelito De Leon, and Ayala Corp. executives including chair Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, president and CEO Cezar P. Consing, chief human resources officer Francisco Romero Milán, and chief legal officer Atty. Franchette M. Acosta.
Saludo sa Serbisyo expands support services
Aimed at empowering active and retired uniformed personnel, civilian employees, and their families, the initiative is part of Ayala’s broader Saludo sa Serbisyo program. The effort provides access to key services across the Ayala Group—such as affordable housing, vehicle ownership, healthcare, livelihood support, and now, comprehensive career transition services.
A path forward beyond the uniform
“This program is both timely and meaningful,” said Brawner. “It reminds every transitioning soldier that their story does not end with the uniform. Through this initiative, Ayala opens doors for our personnel to pursue new careers and continue serving the nation in meaningful ways.”
Consing emphasized Ayala’s long-standing commitment to national development, stating, “Few are more deserving of the chance to thrive than those who keep our country safe.”
Career assistance through training and job matching
The new career assistance component offers training, job matching, and career counseling to retiring and transitioning AFP personnel. It reflects a deepening of Ayala’s commitment to those who serve.
“To every soldier who has ever wondered what comes next, this program can be their answer,” Brawner concluded. “In the Philippines, service is not forgotten, and heroes are not left behind.” —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
