The carrier will progressively increase frequencies to Manchester, London Gatwick, Milan and Munich as it responds to demand for European travel.
More flights
SIA will increase its Manchester service from five times weekly to daily, while flights to Milan will rise from four times weekly to daily starting Oct. 25.
The airline will also introduce a new three-times-weekly service to Munich on Oct. 26, bringing its total frequency to the German city to 10 flights a week.
At London Gatwick, SIA will increase its second tranche of flights to daily operations during the Northern Winter 2026 season. Combined with its existing daily Gatwick services and four daily flights to London Heathrow, the airline will operate up to six flights a day to London.
Madrid connection
SIA will also add Madrid as its 15th destination in Europe and second in Spain, after Barcelona, with five-times-weekly flights beginning Oct. 26.
The new service will operate between Singapore and Madrid via Barcelona using the 253-seat Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft.
Madrid expands SIA's reach in Spain while offering travelers access to one of Europe's major tourism, business and financial centers.
"Europe continues to be a popular destination for Filipino travelers, and these network enhancements reflect SIA’s commitment to meeting that demand with greater choice and connectivity," said Liwei Tai, SIA general manager for the Philippines.
Tai said the addition of Madrid, along with increased frequencies to Manchester, London Gatwick, Milan and Munich, would give Filipinos more convenient options for traveling to Europe through SIA's Singapore hub.
Philippine links
The network expansion comes as SIA marks 60 years of service in the Philippines.
SIA currently operates five daily flights from Manila to Singapore and a daily service from Cebu.
Travelers from Clark, Iloilo and Davao can also connect through Singapore aboard SIA's low-cost subsidiary Scoot, which operates daily flights from Clark, four times weekly from Iloilo and 10 times weekly from Davao. Scoot also serves the Manila-Singapore and Cebu-Singapore routes.
Tickets for the Madrid service are now on sale, while seats on the additional European flights are being released progressively through SIA's distribution channels. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
