Why it matters
The partnership positions AirAsia at the intersection of sports, lifestyle and mobility as fitness evolves into a mainstream social movement across the region.
By aligning with HYROX, one of the world’s fastest-growing mass participation fitness race formats, the airline is extending its brand beyond transport into community-driven experiences.
The big picture
Spanning more than 15 cities across Asia-Pacific, the collaboration is expected to connect a growing HYROX community, with over 250,000 athletes anticipated in 2026.
The partnership enables athletes, participants and fans to travel seamlessly to key host cities, turning travel into an enabler of meaningful, shared experiences.
What they’re saying

“HYROX is more than a race, it is a lifestyle and sport built around community, consistency and shared ambition. Partnering with AirAsia allows us to better support our athletes and fans by making travel across the region more accessible,” said Gary Wan, HYROX APAC managing director.
