Insider Spotlight
Under the campaign, travelers booking flights to Seoul or Busan under a single booking reference can receive discounts of up to 15 percent on base fares for groups of three and 10 percent for groups of two.
The offer covers both one-way and round-trip flights, with bookings accepted until July 18, 2026.
Why it matters
The promotion highlights PAL’s effort to stimulate outbound leisure travel through group bookings while strengthening tourism ties with South Korea, one of the most popular overseas destinations for Filipino travelers.
It also reflects airlines’ broader strategy of partnering with tourism agencies to encourage demand beyond airfare discounts alone.
PAL said the campaign is designed for families, friends, colleagues and other small travel groups looking to visit iconic K-drama filming locations, K-pop attractions and seasonal destinations while taking advantage of discounted fares.
The airline added that the promotion supports travelers seeking shared experiences ranging from culinary trips and shopping to cultural exploration.
The bigger picture
Beyond promotional pricing, PAL is positioning its full-service offering as a differentiator in the competitive Korea travel market.
The airline said passengers will continue to receive generous baggage allowance, inflight meals and its signature Filipino hospitality as part of the travel experience.
According to the media release, Korea remains a leading destination for Filipino tourists, supported by sustained interest in Korean entertainment, beauty products, cuisine and shopping.
Travelers may book through the PAL website, mobile application, hotline, ticketing offices or accredited travel agents.
PAL, founded in 1941, is the Philippines’ flag carrier and the country’s only full-service network airline. It currently operates nonstop flights from Manila and Cebu to 29 domestic and 40 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
The airline is an APEX Four Star airline and was recognized by Cirium for achieving the highest on-time performance among Asia-Pacific carriers in 2025. —Vanessa Hidalgo| Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
