The new Galaxy Z Series introduces three distinct devices—the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8—each built around a different way people work, create, and stay connected while sharing the same Galaxy AI capabilities.
Samsung said the expanded lineup reflects its vision of making foldable smartphones more accessible to a wider range of users, whether they prioritize work, multimedia experiences, or portability.
Three experiences
Rather than simply offering different screen sizes, Samsung has positioned each foldable to address a specific lifestyle.
Leading the lineup is the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which the company describes as its most advanced AI-powered productivity foldable to date. It features Flex Titanium Technology for a larger, flatter display, My FanCam for easier content creation, and a 5,000mAh battery capable of delivering up to 27 hours of use on a single charge.
Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Fold8, a new foldable form factor designed to bridge everyday convenience and immersive experiences. Users can perform quick tasks on the cover display before unfolding the device into a larger screen intended for streaming, reading, gaming, multitasking, and productivity.
Completing the lineup is the Galaxy Z Flip8, Samsung's thinnest and lightest Flip smartphone yet. Weighing 180 grams and measuring 6.1 millimeters thick, the device combines a compact design with enhanced durability through Advanced Armor Aluminum construction and a reinforced hinge.
Together, the three devices showcase Samsung's effort to match different lifestyles rather than offering a one-size-fits-all smartphone experience.
AI focus
Artificial intelligence remains at the center of Samsung's latest flagship devices.
Across the Galaxy Z lineup, Galaxy AI powers features intended to simplify everyday tasks, enhance creativity, and improve productivity. The company said AI capabilities have been integrated into the user experience, enabling smarter content creation, easier multitasking, and more intuitive interactions.
The inclusion of a six-month Google AI Pro trial for eligible purchases further expands access to advanced AI-powered tools, allowing users to explore additional generative AI capabilities alongside Samsung's own ecosystem.
Samsung's latest wearables also complement the new smartphones. The Galaxy Watch9 focuses on wellness and productivity features, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 targets users seeking a more rugged smartwatch for active lifestyles.
Launch offers
To encourage early upgrades, Samsung is offering a range of pre-order promotions until Aug. 13.
Customers who purchase the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, or Galaxy Z Flip8 during the promotional period can receive double storage upgrades worth up to P7,000, eligible trade-in credits of up to P14,000, and three months of complimentary Samsung Care+, valued at P3,297.
Those pre-ordering the 256GB variants can also receive a P3,000 discount on selected Galaxy wearables.
Samsung is extending additional incentives beyond smartphones. Customers purchasing participating Galaxy Watch9 or Galaxy Watch Ultra2 models through Sept. 30 can receive a P2,000 discount on selected Galaxy smartphones.
The company is also offering trade-in values of up to 50 percent, guaranteed savings of up to P16,000, and vendor discounts reaching P3,000, providing multiple upgrade options for existing Galaxy users.
With the latest Galaxy Z Series, Samsung is expanding its foldable portfolio beyond premium hardware by emphasizing AI-powered experiences, lifestyle-driven design, and an integrated ecosystem of smartphones and wearables.
