Insider Spotlight
Businesses are handling increasing volumes of documents, from reports to technical drawings, making speed and accessibility critical to operations. Epson is positioning its solutions as a way to connect capture, processing, and output into a single workflow.
What’s new
At the center is its Document Capture Pro Solution, a free software that allows teams to scan, organize, and route files more efficiently. It converts documents into searchable PDFs or editable formats such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, helping reduce manual work.
The software also automates file organization using barcodes, recognized text, and layout detection, while enabling direct routing to email, shared folders, or cloud platforms.
Why it matters
Automation and digitization are becoming essential as firms aim to cut delays and improve collaboration across departments. Epson’s approach addresses both efficiency and data accessibility, particularly for organizations managing high document volumes.
On the hardware side
Epson pairs its software with high-performance printers designed for reliability and lower environmental impact. The WorkForce Enterprise C21000 supports high-volume printing while using Heat-Free Technology to reduce energy consumption versus traditional laser systems.
For technical industries, the SureColor T3130X delivers precise large-format prints suited for CAD and architectural work, ensuring consistent output quality.
Between the lines
Epson is aligning its product ecosystem with broader sustainability trends, including reducing unnecessary printing and improving resource efficiency in daily operations.
