Insider Spotlight:
The global electronics leader spotlighted its newest energy-efficient and climate-responsive commercial air-conditioning systems, signaling a bold move into the commercial HVAC market.
The big picture
As energy costs soar and green building standards rise, TCL’s participation emphasized the industry’s shift toward smarter, more efficient climate control solutions.
PHILCONSTRUCT’s HVAC/R Philippines showcase underscored this trend, focusing on innovations that reduce emissions while boosting performance.
“With the direction of TCL AC to expand in the commercial segment, the Philconstruct exhibit served as the best venue to showcase our products while expanding our market reach and tapping new channels such as consultants, contractors, and developers attending the event,” Bert Cheung, deputy director of air solutions and B2B business at TCL Philippines, said in a press release on Nov. 12.
Driving climate-smart cooling
TCL presented its TMV6 Intelligent VRF System and T-AI Full DC Inverter, both designed for maximum energy savings and operational flexibility. The TMV6 system supports up to 144 horsepower in a single network, enabling efficient cooling for large-scale facilities while maintaining high energy performance through an Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) of 10.
“TCL pioneers the application of Artificial Intelligence to Air Conditioning systems through our T-AI Inverter technology. With this, we further enhance the energy efficiency of our units, reaching up to 80 percent savings as compared to a non-inverter unit,” said Vincent Tobias, assistant product manager of air-conditioner, TCL Philippines.
Between the lines
TCL’s innovations cater to the Philippine market’s unique energy challenges—balancing cost-conscious consumers and green building mandates. The company’s systems integrate offline voice command controls, offer fresh air ventilation features, and are customizable for residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
“Committed to the Philippine market, TCL continuously improves its product offerings to ensure a perfect fit,” Tobias added. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
