PlayTime joined the 38th Awit Awards as a partner this year, tying its fast-growing platform to one of the local music industry’s biggest annual celebrations.

The Meralco Theater lit up with performances from Ben&Ben, Lola Amour, BINI, and other standout acts as PARI recognized this year’s top albums, songs, and recordings.

During the program, the online gambling and entertainment giant announced a P1-million commitment to the Alagang Kapatid Foundation to support communities affected by recent typhoons.

“We recognize that entertainment must go hand-in-hand with empathy, empowerment, and a vision for a better Philippines,” Krizia Cortez, director of public relations of PlayTime, said in a statement.

“As a brand with a primary mission of championing Filipino entertainment, our support for the Awit Awards and our P1 million commitment to Alagang Kapatid Foundation honor the Filipino artists who shape our culture and the communities who inspire it,” she added.

Continuing partnership

This contribution builds on PlayTime CARES’ ongoing collaboration with the foundation, which has long supported relief, rehabilitation, and community programs across vulnerable areas.

Honoring OPM’s standouts

Ben&Ben took Album of the Year with The Traveller Across Dimensions, while Cup of Joe’s “Misteryoso” and Lola Amour’s “Namimiss Ko Na” claimed Song and Record of the Year.

BINI and SB19 collected multiple awards, underscoring the influence of pop fandom and community-driven music culture.
