Pinoy Big Brother moves to new, ‘more cost-efficient’ home

Pinoy Big Brother became one of ABS-CBN Corp.’s biggest reality franchises after its debut in 2005, with its famous yellow house becoming a fixture of the show for more than two decades.

Now, PBB is preparing for a new home and a new chapter with GMA Network Inc. after the property occupied by its original house was sold.

“We are launching a new PBB season this year in partnership with GMA,” ABS-CBN chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes told ABS-CBN shareholders on Wednesday. 

“We will be moving to a new PBB house which will be more cost efficient for us,” she added.

ABS-CBN did not disclose where the new PBB house will be located . 

The original house in Quezon City is closing after 21 years, ending a long run from a location near ABS-CBN’s studios and production facilities in Quezon City.
