The flag carrier will boost frequencies from 14 to 18 weekly, shifting from a twice-daily schedule to three flights a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
“By increasing our capacity on this key route, we are opening doors for travelers to experience the world-class service and heartfelt hospitality unique to Philippine Airlines, while also supporting the dynamic economic relationship that drives opportunities between the Philippines and the US,” said PAL president Richard Nuttall.
He noted that the expanded service strengthens links to PAL’s domestic and regional network for easier connections across the Philippines and Asia.
Travelers heading to Los Angeles will also see improved access to other US. cities through PAL’s partner airlines.
The added L.A. flights come alongside the planned increase in Manila–Seattle services, which will rise from three to five weekly starting Nov. 25, 2025, supporting daily flights to San Francisco and Guam, thrice-weekly New York service, and five-times-weekly Honolulu operations.
PAL is also rolling out thrice-weekly Cebu–Guam flights on Dec. 16, 2025, the only direct link between the two destinations.
With these upgrades, PAL expects cargo capacity between Manila, Asia, and Los Angeles to grow by up to 60 tons weekly, reinforcing its broader North America expansion push.
