The details

Participants are also tagged as “PAL Priority Candidates,” giving them streamlined access to job opportunities within the airline

The program also includes a Masterclass Series, offering mentorship sessions led by PAL executives across operational areas such as flight operations and aircraft maintenance

“Marking our 85th year, we are focused on nurturing the talent that will shape the future of our skies,” Carlos Luis Fernandez, PAL executive vice president and chief operating officer, said in a press statement on March 23, 2026.

“By providing flight grants and career pathways through the PAL Foundation, we are helping them reach key milestones in their professional journeys,” he added.

PAL’s approach blends corporate social responsibility with long-term workforce planning. The structured pipeline—from education support to hiring consideration—signals a shift toward more proactive talent cultivation in aviation

The partnership also strengthens ties between industry and academe, a critical factor in ensuring graduates are job-ready

“This partnership with Philippine Airlines is a strong manifestation of the transformative power of industry and academe collaboration,” said Jeq Zyrius Sudweste, NAAP vice president for academic affairs.

“Through the Share the Care Award Program, both NAAP and PAL not only bridge education and industry practice, but also nurture a shared vision of excellence in aviation by providing our future aviation professionals with unprecedented access to the flag carrier’s expertise and network, ensuring that they become industry-ready and, more importantly, future-ready.”
