The move comes as the global technology and services firm positions itself for its next phase of growth, with a sharper focus on technology, industrial capability, and long-term partnerships in a rapidly evolving market.
Why it matters
Cervania takes the helm at a milestone moment for Bosch Philippines, which is marking 100 years since it first introduced automotive products in the country. The company is now expanding across sectors including power tools, home appliances, life safety systems, advanced manufacturing technologies, and software-enabled services.
Her appointment signals Bosch’s continued push to align with the Philippines’ digital and industrial transformation while strengthening its local ecosystem.
Leadership transition
Cervania succeeds Paulo Duarte, who led efforts to deepen partnerships with government and industry stakeholders. During his tenure, Bosch expanded its automotive service network, supported workforce development and technical training initiatives, and maintained its corporate social responsibility programs.
The big picture
Bringing more than two decades of experience within the Bosch Group, Cervania has held leadership roles across procurement, logistics, and regional operations in Asia Pacific. Her career spans assignments in the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia, with oversight across Southeast Asia, Oceania, China, Japan, and Korea.
Before joining Bosch, she worked in procurement across industries including paper manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors.
“Taking on the role of managing director of Bosch Philippines is both an honor and a responsibility to build on a century of partnership in the country,” Cervania said, adding that the company will continue investing in people and delivering solutions that support national growth.
