Instead of slowing down, the resort, developed by the Gokongwei family-led Robinsons Land Corp., is launching its boldest move yet: the opening of Cebu’s first ultra-luxury hotel.

The main event is the debut of the much-awaited NUSTAR Hotel, a major statement in the city’s hospitality race.
“As we mark NUSTAR Resort Cebu’s third anniversary, we proudly uphold our status as the first and only premier integrated resort in the Visayas and Mindanao, setting the gold standard for luxury and innovation,” said Sean Knights, chief operating officer of NUSTAR.
“The unveiling of the NUSTAR Hotel promises to be the pinnacle of hospitality, offering supreme ambience, service excellence and guest experience. Guests can also look forward to the opening of our Skydeck and Leisure Park within the year, exciting new attractions that will further elevate the NUSTAR experience,” he added.
Weddings get a luxe upgrade
On May 23, NUSTAR is adding a new signature event with “A Prelude to Beloved Celebrations,” a showcase raising the bar for Ting Hun ceremonies through Fili Hotel’s wedding fair.
It’s a nod to tradition with a modern luxury twist that’s expected to draw a lot of attention.
Guests can dive into a lineup of exclusive food and drink promos, like 30 percent off at Fili Café, 3+1 cocktails at L5 Pool Bar, and special themed deals at NUSTAR’s dining spots in May.
Big rewards up for grabs
NUSTAR Rewards members are also in for a treat, with exclusive perks and raffle entries for a chance to win a brand-new Hyundai Stargazer or part of a nearly P2 million prize pool.
