Insider Spotlight
The Wings Transit Hotel & Spa has reopened on the fourth level of Terminal 3's public mall area, offering capsule accommodations, private rooms, shower facilities, buffet dining, lounge access, massage services, and baggage storage under one roof.
The facility operates around the clock and is accessible to departing and arriving passengers, transit travelers, and even non-traveling visitors.
Why it matters
The reopening addresses a longstanding need for flexible short-stay accommodations at the country's busiest international gateway, particularly for passengers facing long layovers, delayed flights, or early morning departures. Because the property is located in the landside area before security and immigration, guests do not need to leave the airport complex to find nearby lodging.
The hotel offers several accommodation options, including single capsules, family capsules, twin rooms, and family rooms. Stay packages range from 7.5 to 15 hours and include a meal pass, shower access with toiletries, Wi-Fi, business lounge access, and complimentary luggage storage for up to two large bags and one carry-on.
By the numbers
Standard occupancy ranges from one guest in capsule accommodations to three guests in family rooms, with extra-person options available for an additional fee. Children aged three years old and below stay free as the first child, while additional young children incur a charge. Guests may also upgrade to unlimited meal passes during their stay.
Beyond accommodations, the facility provides full-body massages, seated massages, foot massages, spa treatments, and nail care services. These wellness services are available on a first-come, first-served basis without advance reservations.
What's next
Online reservations are accepted from exactly 24 hours up to 60 days before arrival. Travelers whose preferred dates fall outside the booking window will need to wait until their stay becomes eligible for reservation.
The reopening revives a concept first introduced at NAIA Terminal 3 in 2015, when The Wings became the Philippines' first airport transit lounge featuring Japanese-inspired capsule accommodations. The latest iteration combines short-stay lodging with expanded spa, dining, and wellness offerings aimed at improving the passenger experience inside the airport terminal.
