Jobstreet by SEEK partners with DOLE, PRA to boost career growth in retail sector

Leading online job portal Jobstreet by SEEK has announced strategic partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) to redefine career development in the retail sector and empower both employees and HR professionals.

The collaboration with DOLE was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing during the Jobstreet Career Con 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Jobstreet SEEK said.

Shortly after, Jobstreet by SEEK also entered a one-year partnership with PRA through another MOA, reinforcing its commitment to bridging jobseekers with career opportunities.

The DOLE partnership was made official with the presence of Labor Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma, Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres, along with Jobstreet by SEEK’s managing director Dannah Majarocon and operations director Aki Sumulong.

As the government agency overseeing employment policies and programs, DOLE will work alongside Jobstreet by SEEK to organize career conventions, job fairs, and youth employability programs aimed at strengthening workforce development.

"Our collaboration with DOLE is a testament to our shared mission of connecting high-potential employees with companies that need their skills. Through job fairs and career seminars, we aim to make employment opportunities more accessible," said Majarocon.

Similarly, the PRA MOA signing was attended by PRA secretary general Bing S. Miranda, membership & marketing  officer Grace S. Reclosado, and deputy secretary general - advocacy & communications Mary Anne Sangil, alongside Jobstreet by SEEK’s Majarocon and head of marketing Henry Jose Yusingco.
