Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.-led International Container Terminal Services Inc. said it signed the 10-year term-loan facility with Sy-led BDO Unibank Inc., with ICTSI acting as the sole borrower.
The port operator did not disclose the interest rate, security arrangements or intended use of the proceeds.
The megadeal comes as ICTSI undertakes a $740-million capital spending program across its expanding international network.
The company is developing terminals in the Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Ecuador, Honduras and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
ICTSI’s recurring net income rose 25 percent to $604.69 million in the first half of 2026, while revenue climbed 27 percent to $1.92 billion, a previous filing showed.
Container throughput increased 16 percent to 8.12 million TEUs, driven largely by newly acquired terminals in South Africa and Indonesia.
The BDO facility gives ICTSI a larger financial cushion as it pursues new growth while navigating weaker organic volumes and geopolitical risks in some markets.
