The budget carrier will resume Manila-Xiamen flights, which were suspended two years ago, on Nov. 23 with twice-weekly service.
It will also begin flying between Cebu and Shanghai on Nov. 17 with three weekly flights, becoming the only Philippine carrier serving the route.
Xiamen, a major commercial hub in Fujian province, holds a special place for many Filipino migrant families and is also the birthplace of Cebu Pacific founder John Gokongwei Jr.
The two routes will complement Cebu Pacific’s existing services to Shanghai and Guangzhou, further strengthening its network in mainland China.

“At Cebu Pacific, we continue to strengthen our network to give every Juan a better opportunity to explore more destinations across Asia,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said in a statement on Friday.
“The launch of additional direct flights to China, Vietnam, and Japan not only provides travelers from all over the Philippines with more convenient access to these vibrant cities but also encourages more international travelers to visit and explore our country,” he added.
Japan and Vietnam
Beyond China, Cebu Pacific will also launch four weekly Cebu-Nagoya flights beginning Nov. 19, making Nagoya its third direct destination in Japan from Cebu after Tokyo-Narita and Osaka.
The airline will also restore Cebu-Ho Chi Minh City flights beginning Oct. 26 and Clark-Hanoi services on Nov. 19, expanding direct international links from gateways outside Metro Manila.
To support the expansion, Cebu Pacific is offering P1 one-way base fares, exclusive of fees and surcharges, for bookings made from Aug. 7 to 11, with travel from Oct. 26, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
