The company said its services would soon become available in key areas of Mindanao, including Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bukidnon, Butuan, Iligan, Pagadian and Dipolog.
In the Visayas, Lalamove is moving beyond Cebu into Panay and Negros, with plans to serve Iloilo, Roxas, Bacolod, Dumaguete and Kabankalan.
The expansion is expected to give more individuals and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) access to on-demand logistics while opening livelihood opportunities for partner drivers.

Lalamove has operated in Cebu since 2022 and introduced ride-hailing services there in 2025. The latest expansion gives the company a wider footprint across the central and southern Philippines.
The company, which started operations in Manila in 2016, provides on-demand delivery services to individuals and businesses as well as ride-hailing services in selected markets.
Lalamove said all parcel deliveries come with up to P75,000 in insurance coverage regardless of the type of vehicle used.
Its ride-hailing service, meanwhile, provides real-time GPS tracking, 24/7 in-app chat, an SOS emergency button and accident insurance provided by Chubb.
Driver opportunities
Lalamove is also recruiting partner drivers as it prepares to enter the new markets.
Starting Sept. 1, interested drivers can sign up with free registration and no top-up requirement. New drivers can also avail themselves of discounted LalaBags and gain access to the company’s Panalomove Driver Benefits program.
Lalamove said its ride-hailing services have operated on a zero-commission model since December 2025, allowing partner drivers to receive 100 percent of their fares.
Drivers using the platform can also switch between parcel deliveries and passenger transport, giving them flexibility in choosing how to earn.
The company said its broader Visayas and Mindanao presence would allow it to support more businesses in reaching customers while giving consumers greater access to delivery and transportation options. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
