The Marketplace is expanding its presence in southern Metro Manila with two new supermarket branches in Las Piñas and Parañaque this October, responding to growing consumer demand for convenient access to premium groceries and international products.

The premium supermarket chain opened its branch at Evia Lifestyle Center in Las Piñas on Oct. 16, with another store scheduled to open in BF Homes Parañaque on Oct. 23.

The expansion gives households in both cities and neighboring communities additional grocery shopping options, offering fresh produce, imported food products, household essentials and specialty merchandise.

“These new stores allow us to be even closer to the communities we serve,” said The Marketplace deputy general manager Diana Prince Ang. “We recognize the growing needs of residents in the South and are excited to bring them a grocery destination that combines everyday convenience with quality, discovery, and exceptional service.”

Wider product selection

The new branches will offer a range of local and imported products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, premium meats, seafood, specialty pantry items, cheeses, international snacks and gourmet food products.

Among the international brands available are Waitrose from the United Kingdom, Casino from France and Woolworths from Australia.

The supermarkets will also carry Australian beef, specialty meat cuts, deli products and other ingredients catering to home cooks, families and consumers seeking a wider selection of food products.

The expansion comes as southern Metro Manila continues to develop as a residential and commercial hub, creating opportunities for retailers to serve households seeking greater convenience and product variety.

Lifestyle offerings

Beyond food and groceries, the stores will feature beauty, personal care, wellness and household products, allowing customers to purchase everyday essentials alongside specialty merchandise.

Wine enthusiasts will also have access to selections from international vineyards.

As the exclusive retail partner of Vivino in the Philippines, The Marketplace allows shoppers to use the wine-rating platform to check product reviews, ratings, tasting notes and food-pairing recommendations.

The company said its expanded product offerings are intended to address changing consumer preferences, particularly among households looking for quality products and convenient shopping locations.

Opening promotions

To attract customers, The Marketplace is offering opening-week promotions at both branches, including discounts of up to 50 percent on selected products, Buy 1 Take 1 deals and other special offers.

The promotions began with the Evia Lifestyle Center opening on Oct. 16 and will accompany the BF Homes Parañaque opening on Oct. 23.

Special offers will continue throughout each store's opening week, giving shoppers additional opportunities to explore the product selections.
