Insider Spotlight
The new season, themed “Legacy of the Seas,” will feature races across Corregidor, Subic, Boracay, and Busuanga, reinforcing efforts to position the Philippines as a world-class sailing destination.
Why it matters
The series combines competitive sailing with environmental stewardship, supporting the development of Philippine sailing while promoting the protection of marine ecosystems.
BPI Wealth president and CEO Maria Theresa Marcial emphasized the importance of building a sailing community committed to preserving the country's waters.
“For us, sailing has always been about more than the race itself. It brings people together through a shared passion, challenges us to push our limits, and reminds us of our responsibility to protect the waters that make these experiences possible,” Marcial said.

What's next
Season 4 will build on the competition's momentum by connecting sailing enthusiasts, strengthening the country's maritime sporting community, and supporting sustainable ocean stewardship.
The initiative aligns with BPI's “Do More Philippines” aspiration, emphasizing the preservation of natural resources for future generations. —Ramon C. Nocon | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
