Key cities in Visayas and Mindanao also reached 94.19 percent 5G coverage, enhancing digital connectivity nationwide.
Over seven million devices are now connected to Globe's 5G network, reflecting strong demand for high-speed mobile data. Globe has also partnered with 167 operators in 87 international destinations for 5G roaming services.
This expansion strengthens Globe’s role in driving digital transformation in the Philippines and abroad.
“Our aggressive 5G rollout across the country is a crucial part of our strategy to ensure that the Philippines is at the forefront of digital transformation,” Joel Agustin, Globe senior vice president and head of service planning and engineering, said in a statement.
