The company’s board has approved the creation of DigiPlus Global Pte. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary to be incorporated in Singapore.
Big picture
The P160-billion digital gaming giant is raising its profile overseas, with Singapore as the natural choice—a global finance and business hub just a few hours from the Philippines.
This follows its moves to expand in Brazil, where it secured a gaming license to replicate its domestic success.
Management’s view
“Singapore is a world-class hub for business, technology, and talent, making it an ideal base for our global initiatives,” said DigiPlus Interactive chairman Eusebio Tanco.
“With the incorporation of DigiPlus Global, we are strengthening our ability to attract top-tier professionals, forge strategic alliances, and enhance our international presence, all while remaining deeply committed to our home market in the Philippines,” he added.
Strategic location
DigiPlus Global will serve as a strategic hub, handling partnerships, talent acquisition, and corporate operations to drive growth across multiple markets.
Owned by Diginvest Holdings Inc., the new entity reflects DigiPlus’ ambition to scale beyond its existing international ventures.
Singapore’s position as a global business and technology hub makes it the ideal launch pad for this expansion.
