In a statement on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said the facility became fully operational on December 8, 2024, just in time for the peak Christmas travel season.
The hub, located within Terminal 3’s multi-level parking building, spans 6,000 square meters. It features 401 parking slots, 18 loading bays, and designated lanes for TNVS operators, aiming to reduce curbside congestion, improve traffic flow, and enhance passenger convenience.
“With a centralized hub and diverse transportation options, we are bringing more order and efficiency to the airport. This is part of our commitment to making travel smoother and stress-free for every passenger,” said NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez.
Grab Philippines was the first operator to transition to the hub, beginning operations during the soft launch on December 5. The platform commenced full-scale services on December 8.
“As the nation’s leading ride-hailing platform, Grab is proud to be the first to transition to this centralized station,” said Ronald Roda, Grab Philippines Country Head, adding that this initiative is a game-changer for drivers and passengers alike.
JoyRide will join the hub on December 10, bringing app-based rides and its Super Taxi fleet to the facility
“Our partnership with NNIC ensures passengers have access to both app-based rides and our dedicated Super Taxi fleet,” said Noli Eala, JoyRide SVP for Corporate Affairs.
Angkas will also operate at the hub through its Angcars service, further diversifying transport options. “This initiative is a win for travelers, drivers, and airport efficiency,” said George Royeca, Angkas CEO.
Passengers can book rides through apps or on-site booking lounges located adjacent to the car park, maintaining affordability with rates comparable to coupon taxis.
This centralized TNVS hub is part of NNIC’s modernization efforts to address overcapacity and infrastructure challenges, enhancing the overall airport experience for millions of travelers.
