Seat capacity grew 24.1 percent, while seat load factor (SLF) improved to 86.8 percent, reflecting efficient capacity use.
Domestic travel surged 28.9 percent, while international passenger traffic rose 19.6 percent, both outpacing capacity expansion.
Year-to-date, Cebu Pacific has flown 4.7 million passengers, up 30 percent, with domestic and international markets growing 31.9 percent and 25 percent, respectively.
Management’s view
“February traffic remained strong, surpassing capacity expansion and improving seat load factor across both our domestic and international networks,” said Candice Iyog, chief marketing and customer experience officer of Cebu Pacific.
“Considering that February is typically not a peak travel month for most Filipinos, these results reinforce our confidence that the market has already absorbed the additional capacity we’ve introduced since the third quarter of last year,” she added.
