Philippine Airlines Flight PR 412 bound for Kansai International Airport, the main gateway to  Osaka, Japan, made a safe emergency landing in Manila on Sept. 3 after a mid-flight pressurization alert.

The Airbus A321ceo, carrying 191 passengers and 8 crew, descended to a safe altitude and declared an emergency in accordance with strict safety protocols.

The issue was quickly resolved, and the aircraft returned to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, touching down safely at 11:20 AM.

“All 191 passengers and 8 crew members have safely disembarked. Our ground operations team is providing full assistance to affected passengers, including meals, baggage support, and rebooking arrangements for their onward travel,” PAL said in a statement.

The airline stressed that safety is its top priority and is coordinating closely with aviation authorities. Philippine Airlines credited its emergency protocols for ensuring the well-being and comfort of all onboard.
