Seat sale running from Sept. 7 to 13
The flag carrier is rolling out PALkada Deals, a week-long domestic seat sale running from Sept. 7 to 13. Passengers traveling from Oct. 1, 2026 can receive 15 percent off domestic base fares when booking for two travelers, 35 percent for three and 55 percent for five.
Spur more domestic travel
The structure effectively rewards travelers for consolidating bookings into larger groups, potentially helping PAL generate domestic traffic around holiday reunions, family vacations and other group trips.
The promotion covers destinations across PAL’s domestic network, which spans 29 destinations from its Manila and Cebu hubs. The airline highlighted leisure markets including Siargao, Cebu, Boracay, Bacolod and Iloilo as potential destinations for group travelers.
Flexible payment options
PAL is combining fare discounts with payment flexibility as travelers remain sensitive to the upfront cost of trips. Eligible domestic bookings can be paid through zero-percent credit card installment plans of up to three months through select bank partners.
The promotional materials on page 2 reinforce PAL’s group-booking strategy, separately pitching the offer to barkada and family travelers while highlighting the same tiered discounts and installment option.
Travelers can access the PALkada offer through PAL’s website, mobile app, hotline, ticketing offices and accredited travel agents during the promotional period.
On-time performance
Domestic traffic forms part of a broader network that PAL operates from Manila and Cebu. Alongside its 29 Philippine destinations, the full-service carrier serves 40 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia and the Middle East.
The airline was recognized by aviation analytics company Cirium for having the highest on-time performance among Asia-Pacific carriers in 2025. PAL was also officially invited in 2026 to join the oneworld Alliance, according to the company. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
