Lucio Co’s Puregold sees ‘’buoyant" momentum after first half bump

Tycoon Lucio Co's Puregold Price Club, Inc. reported a consolidated net income of P4.95 billion for the first half of 2024, a 12.5 percent increase from P4.4 billion last year, while revenue reached P98.5 billion, an 8 percent rise from P91.2 billion. 

Same-store sales grew by 1.9 percent at Puregold Stores and 2.4 percent at S&R Warehouse clubs. 

“The company continues to see a buoyant trajectory in topline growth for the second half of 2024,” Puregold said in a stock exchange filing on Friday.

The company added 15 new stores, bringing its total to 581 nationwide by the end of June 2024.
