The recognition highlights Aboitiz’s strategy of expanding high-performance, sustainable infrastructure in emerging growth corridors like Lipa and Malvar.
“Today’s 5-Star BERDE Certification is more than an accolade. It affirms our deep and ongoing commitment to responsible development—where economic progress, environmental stewardship, and community upliftment move forward hand in hand,” said Rafael Fernandez De Mesa, president of LIMA Land and head of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates.
LIMA Tower One is part of the expanding 70-hectare Biz Hub at LIMA Estate and is already home to major tenants like Conduent, which opened its first provincial office there.
The tower’s certification also marks a larger shift, with more IT-BPM and knowledge-based firms looking outside urban centers for talent and better quality of life.
LIMA Estate is now being positioned as a model for mixed-use economic zones, combining industrial, office, retail, and residential components in one integrated community.
Aboitiz InfraCapital currently manages nearly 2,000 hectares of industrial land, supporting over 100,000 jobs across its estates, all of which are BERDE-certified.
