Google AI Plus launches in PH with new features, 200GB storage

Google has widened the reach of its premium AI subscription, rolling out Google AI Plus to 40 more countries, including the Philippines. 

The plan gives users greater access to Google’s most advanced AI tools and services at a single, affordable price.

The move aims to empower more people in emerging markets to unlock the potential of Google’s AI for work, creativity, and everyday life. From students and professionals to hobbyists and families, subscribers can now take advantage of features designed to boost productivity and creativity.

“With many lives and careers already transformed by AI, this expansion ensures that more people can get the best of Google’s tools in one accessible plan,” the company said in a statement.

Key features of Google AI Plus

With a subscription, users gain access to:

• Expanded AI tools: Higher usage limits for the “Nano Banana” image generation and editing model, plus access to Google’s video generation tool Veo 3 Fast, integrated with filmmaking platforms like Whisk and Flow.
• Workspace integration: AI seamlessly embedded into Gmail, Docs, and Sheets to help users work smarter and faster.
• Extra storage: 200 GB of storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos.
• Family sharing: Benefits extend to up to five family members.
