The milestone reflects growing engagement across teams and signals a broader cultural shift toward integrating AI into daily operations.
Employees are now using AI tools for a range of applications—from quality assurance bots powered by generative AI to personal automation workflows and custom productivity solutions.
Strategic shift
The achievement forms part of Globe’s strategy to democratize AI within the organization. Instead of relying on top-down mandates, the company is focusing on enabling employees with tools, infrastructure, and training to embed AI into their everyday tasks.
Globally, only about 55 percent of companies report some level of AI adoption, placing Globe well above the benchmark.
Leadership view
“Reaching 90 percent adoption of Gemini for Workspace shows that our people are not just curious about AI—they are actively using it to improve how they work every day,” said Anton Bonifacio, Globe’s chief AI officer and chief information security officer.
He added that the company aims to make AI practical and valuable across all teams, encouraging experimentation and innovation.
Capability building
To sustain momentum, Globe partnered with Google Cloud to conduct an Agentic AI Use Case Discovery Workshop.
The initiative introduced teams to Gemini Enterprise and its agentic AI capabilities through demonstrations, breakout sessions, and guided use-case mapping.
The program encouraged employees to continue experimenting with AI tools, with plans underway to build an internal registry to scale AI-driven solutions across departments.
Collaborative push
Globe also collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on a separate workshop focused on agentic AI-driven development.
The session equipped teams with frameworks to design AI workflows capable of performing tasks independently and accelerating development processes.
Participants identified process inefficiencies and explored how generative AI could automate repetitive tasks, particularly within software development cycles.
Practical impact
“These workshops show how we are moving beyond awareness to real capability,” said Jesse Liamzon, head of the Agentic AI Center for Enablement.
“We are giving our teams the space to experiment, the tools to build, and the confidence to apply AI in ways that solve real problems,” he added.
Next phase
Globe said it will continue expanding its AI initiatives by empowering more teams and fostering hands-on learning experiences. The goal is to translate employee curiosity into measurable and scalable business impact.
Looking ahead
With adoption now at 90 percent, Globe’s AI journey has shifted from exploration to practical, everyday use—driving efficiency, innovation, and long-term transformation across the organization. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
