Aboitiz to boost AI capabilities in region, expanding PH hub

Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) has unveiled plans to expand its data science and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across Southeast Asia.

During a recent media briefing, ADI emphasized its goal of fostering innovation and growth in the region by leveraging its expertise in AI.

ADI CEO Dr. David Hardoon said "ADI aims to help companies tailor AI solutions to their specific goals,” adding that this will enable entire industries to become more robust.

He said the innovation arm of the Abotiz conglomerate plans to expand its capabilities from the Philippines and Singapore to other Southeast Asian markets, and sharing its methods to help multiple organizations excel.

Recognizing the potential for AI to add $1 trillion to Southeast Asia's economy by 2030, ADI is actively building partnerships and a robust talent pool. Recent collaborations include projects with Cloudera, Thailand's REPCO NEX, and AboitizPower.

As ADI extends its reach, it remains committed to driving innovation and fostering an inclusive future, transforming sectors across the region through advanced AI solutions, the company said.
